Our Deacon Ministry mission is to serve as the Pastor’s Armor Bearers, and his “extended arms” to meet the needs of the congregation and community. As the Pastor is God’s appointed leader of the church, our Deacons are God’s appointed servants of the church to help resolve any murmuring and grumbling, look after the widows and less fortunate, and relieve the Pastor so he can give his attention to prayer and ministry.
We are striving to live up to Acts 6:3-4, and 1 Timothy 3:8-13 as the Holy spirit grows us to become living examples of God’s appointed servants, full of the Spirit and wisdom in this “Love Intentional” church.
