Mission Statement
The mission of the Angels of Mercy is to provide comfort to those MMBC members experiencing the death of a loved one and provide visits to those who are hospitalized, homebound and in a nursing home.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Maintain consistent contact with the Pastor and church office to inform, and stay informed, of hospitalized members needing visits.
- Assist the bereaved by providing ongoing comfort, and be a source of love, care, and support to those who are grieving a loss through death.
- Participate in the visitation schedule for hospitalized and homebound members. We also, mail out greeting cards, post cards, and comfort calls.
- If appropriate, provide reading materials, Bibles, and other spiritual-related reading materials. (Church programs/bulletins, Fulfillment Hour lessons, etc.)
- Pray with and for members and their families.
Angels of Mercy meets every 1st Thursday of the Month @ 6:00 PM(unless otherwise Posted @ 6:00 PM.
