Every man, woman and child has the inalienable right to be free from hunger and malnutrition in order to develop fully and maintain their physical and mental faculties. The battle against hunger begins not just with a meal but with those willing to serve. Whether you are an individual, group, or organization, there are various volunteering opportunities available. Youth volunteers should be at least 15 years old and accompanied by an adult. Tasks include sorting and packing produce, unloading items from pallets, setting up distribution lanes, managing traffic, administration, and post-distribution cleanup between 6:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on distribution days. Food is distributing on 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 11AM – 1 PM. Pastries are distributed on 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 11 AM – 1 PM; volunteers are always welcome.
